The E-Cubers Feirm CHLISTE project involves creating an autonomous vehicle to work on small farms in Ireland. Specifically, farms in the Border, Midlands, and West regions of Ireland.
To operate on farms in these regions, the vehicle will need to handle variable surface conditions. Therefore, part of the team is working on an adaptive ground pressure system that will automatically vary the pressure in the vehicle’s tyres depending on the surface.
